Haneline History

In 1952 Ernie Haneline founded his business, Haneline Products in which he created and sold engine-turned automotive trim pieces. In the company’s early days it focused mostly on sports cars but would also custom built panels for local hot rodders. In the 1980’s Mr. Haneline sold the business to one of those hot rodders, Jimmy Bible, who refocused Haneline Products into the rod and custom genre making flat custom on-dash panels as well as developing a two piece dash inlay using an aluminum backer. Mr. Bible also sold his own line of Haneline Gauges and many other lines of street rod products. After selling the company, getting the company back, and reselling it to another group who eventually closed up and sold everything off years ago, Jimmy Bible’s Nephew now carries on the Haneline legacy.

Haneline Rod & Custom Products-Now

I am Scott Smith and I have started the company over from the ground up and reformed my Uncle Jimmy's company into Haneline Rod & Custom Products, LLC. We still offer custom engine turned pieces as well as the two piece dashes that have been a staple of Haneline for years. We engine turn each piece we produce by hand, just like Ernie did it in the 50’s. We will continue to add applications for our two piece dashes as we "redevelop" them. Haneline R&C Products proudly sells Instruments from AutoMeter Products, New Vintage USA and VeeThree Instruments. We are also a distributor for Haywire & Co. for all your electrical system needs.  We will continue to add quality products that complement our own. We will stand behind what we sell and are aware that when the company was not in my family's care often times customer service was not a priority, that will not be the case going forward.
